I caught The Magnetic Fields in Chicago this weekend and blogged about it for A.V. Club. The show was awesome. Plus, not a week after disturbing my slumber with a dull dream, the Mekons more than made up for it, cosmically speaking, by sending Sally Timms to sit in with TMF for a fine rendition of The 6ths' "Give Me Back My Dreams."
